This subscription fee helps cover Apple’s Core Technology Fee, ensuring that the platform remains compliant with Apple’s guidelines. Users who do not wish to pay the annual fee or who reside outside of the EU can still sideload apps using a computer and the original Altstore app, refreshing them every seven days.
